SECURE CORE ALERTS

Privacy policy

Effective October 3, 2026. This policy describes the planned send-only Gmail integration for Joshua Han's personal Secure Core Alerts app.

Data access and purpose

The app requests only the Gmail gmail.send scope to send operational safety warnings and test notifications from the owner-authorized account to the designated recipient. It processes the sender and recipient addresses, notification subject and body, authorization tokens, and send-result identifiers needed for delivery. It does not request inbox-reading or contact-management permissions.

Storage and protection

Authorization credentials are kept outside the source repository in restricted files. The intended server installation gives the notifier access through a private system credential handoff. Operational records retain delivery status and message identifiers for safety checks and troubleshooting. The integration is not yet in continuous operation.

Sharing

Google processes messages and authorization requests to provide Gmail delivery. The cloud server provider hosts the operational files. Notification messages reach the designated email recipient. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, supplied for AI model training, or shared with other office workers through this integration.

Limited Use

Secure Core Alerts' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Control, retention, and deletion

The owner can revoke the app's Google access at Google account connections. Revocation stops future authorized Gmail access; it does not remove emails already delivered. Operational records are retained while needed for delivery reconciliation, troubleshooting, and safety evidence. To request removal of app-held credentials or records, contact the operator below. Messages and backups held by providers follow those providers' controls and retention policies.
